From Senior Government Executive to a New Direction in Education

The Situation: Paul had built a successful career as a senior executive in government and had played a significant leadership role through some challenging periods. Following a change in government and a senior reshuffle, however, he found himself in a position that no longer gave him the opportunity to lead in the way he wanted.

He still had considerable experience, energy and capability. The question was what he wanted from the next stage of his career and where that experience could realistically take him outside the government environment.
