Q: How long does it take to start working with you?

After you book a session, we will confirm the booking and be connected to you via email by the next business day (check your junk mail). You are welcome to call us as well (the number is on the website).

Q: How long does it take to complete the written coaching services: Resume, Resume + LinkedIn, and Cover Letter Writing?

Typically, it takes 5 business days to complete your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile, depending on your schedule, my schedule, and how many rounds of edit are required.

Q: What is involved in getting the written coaching services: Resume, LinkedIn, and Cover Letter Writing?

There are 2 stages to the process. Reviewing your job search marketing documents, and a meeting to review your work experience and accomplishments

1. Once you have booked your written coaching service, you will send me your resume, cover letter and an example of a job advertisement or position description you have applied to (if available).

2. We will then arrange a face to face or a zoom meeting to discuss your work experience and accomplishments.

Q: How long does it take to complete the selection Criteria services? 

This will depend on the number of criteria required. We start with a 1- hour meeting, either face to face or via zoom.   Typically, it takes 3-5 business days to complete, depending on your schedule, my schedule, and how many rounds of edits are required.

Q: Where do you coach?

I coach in person, face to face in Perth or globally via Zoom or Skype so regardless of where you are located, we can work together.

Q: When are you available?

I am available on week days from 8am – 6pm Australian Western Standard Time. Depending on your schedule, and my availability, I may be able to open up an extra evening for you, if required.

Q: How long are the sessions?

Coaching sessions are usually 60 minutes, however they may be a little longer or shorter depending on how the session progresses. There will be exercises for you to complete or actions to take in between sessions.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

You will find a range of coaching packages on my website with the number of sessions in each package. We will work through a structured process to cover what is most important to you. We can add additional sessions if required on a session by session basis.

Q: How frequently do we meet for coaching sessions?

We usually work together once a week but it will depend on which phase in the process you are in. For example, if you are going for an interview in the next week, you may wish to go through those interviews before our next session, in which case it may be 2 weeks before we have our next coaching session.

Q: Do I have to do anything between sessions?

Towards the end of each coaching session we will agree upon actions that you will need to take to move you forward in the coaching process. Depending on the phase you have reached, there may be exercises to complete, research to be done, activities to work through and a different approach to try in order to be well prepared for our next session. The aim is to ensure your progress during and between sessions.

Q: What can I expect after completing a career coaching program with you?

Every client I’ve worked with has had a positive experience. Many have transitioned into new careers, some into different industries, some into different job functions. Quite a few have transitioned into a completely new career, others have transition to entrepreneurship.

Q: What if I can’t attend a scheduled session?

That is no problem at all – you will need to let me know 24 hours in advance and we will reschedule that coaching session.

Q: May I call you between sessions if I have a question?

Yes, absolutely. I am here to support you and I am happy to provide support and encouragement between sessions if you have a question about a challenge at no additional charge.
